A Guide to Clarity Locums

At Clarity we believe you should be in control of your work schedule and our locum app allows you to do just that!

If you are just about to start your journey as a locum pharmacist whether you are newly qualified or have years of experience under your lab coat, there are a few things that you can do to help start your locum career off the right way. This article will help guide you through that process so that you can take full advantage of the benefits that locuming has to offer and create a work schedule that fits around your life!

Documents, documents and more documents...

Regardless of whether you decide to be a contractor or an employee we need a number of documents on file before you can get started.

• Your ID (passport or citizen’s card).
• Your proof of right to work (if applicable). *Email these documents to our compliance team here.
• Your CV.  (Check out these tips here to make your CV stand out!)

You can upload all of the above directly to your profile via the Clarity Locums app:

Reference

You can submit the contact details (name, position and phone number) of your reference directly on the website under > settings. Make sure it’s a supervising pharmacist that you previously worked for.

Account Details

Take advantage of the features Clarity has to offer and tell us more about yourself! You can fill in your personal statement and add a profile photo to your account.

You also need to input the below details:

• Your home address
• Your email & phone number
• Your PSI number
• Your Bank details (so that you are paid for all of your hard work!)

Garda Vetting

Garda vetting is required by law for all pharmacists in Ireland. Clarity Locums wants to make your journey to locuming as simple as possible and so we have written an entire blog post on this to help guide you and make the process as quick as possible, you can read it here.
