Pharmacist for a pharmacy in Hereford
What you need to know:
This is a
full time permanent role. Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.30 (0.5 hour break) and Saturday 09.00 - 13.00 (Alternate) -

Our Client looking for an experienced Pharmacist with the drive to be proactive in providing an array of services in a community pharmacy.
The ideal candidate will have a real hands-on approach to the way they do things. If you love nothing more than getting to know your customers as well as being proactive in providing an array of services in a very busy community pharmacy, you could be the person they are looking for.
This branch is staffed with an experienced team including a Non-Pharm Manager and 3 Healthcare Partners providing an excellent service to the local community from their setting in a GP surgery. Currently dispensing around 7,500 items per month, this is branch ticks over nicely during the day. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.
What you'll be doing:
- Dispense medications as prescribed by doctors and other healthcare professionals.
- Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and to evaluate their suitability for the patient.
- Provide advice to patients on the use of medicines, including dosage, side effects, and interactions with other medications.
- Counsel patients on the management of chronic diseases.
- Conduct medication reviews to ensure that patients are taking their medications as prescribed.
- Order and stock medications and medical supplies.
- Maintain a safe and secure pharmacy environment.
- Stay up-to-date on new drugs and treatments.

What we require:
- Registration with the GPhC
- Relevant experience in a pharmacy setting.
