Clarity is recruiting for Relief Pharmacist to cover the Londonderry/Strabane

What you need to know:

This is a permanent full time or part time role. Permanent vacancies available for pharmacists to cover sickness, annual leave and regular days off for our branch pharmacist managers. 

The exact opening hours for the branches do vary however most would be Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 6pm along with a Saturday rota. 

All of the pharmacies are well staffed with a great team of employees who are experienced and dedicated to providing outstanding patient care and healthcare in their local communities.

What you'll be doing:

• Dispense medications as prescribed by doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and to evaluate their suitability for the patient.
• Provide advice to patients on the use of medicines, including dosage, side effects, and interactions with other medications.
• Counsel patients on the management of chronic diseases.
• Conduct medication reviews to ensure that patients are taking their medications as prescribed.
• Order and stock medications and medical supplies.
• Maintain a safe and secure pharmacy environment.
• Stay up-to-date on new drugs and treatments.

What we require:

• Registration with the PSNI
• Relevant experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
