Clarity is recruiting for Pharmacist for a pharmacy in Aberdeen

What you need to know:
This is a permanent role.  The working hours and pattern for this role are as follows:

Average of 24 hours per week
Week 1 - Monday to Friday 9-1pm

Week 2 - Monday to Friday 9-1pm PLUS Saturday 9-5.30pm

This is a very niche and rare role within the company - where you will be working on their contract for HMP. 

Our client is looking for an experienced Pharmacist with the drive to be proactive in providing an array of services in a community pharmacy, including being the Pharmacist for their prison contract.

The ideal candidate will have a real hands-on approach to the way they do things. If you love nothing more than getting to know your customers as well as being proactive in providing an array of services in a very busy community pharmacy, you could be the person our client is looking for.
 

What you'll be doing:
  • Dispense medications as prescribed by doctors and other healthcare professionals.
  • Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and to evaluate their suitability for the patient.
  • Provide advice to patients on the use of medicines, including dosage, side effects, and interactions with other medications.
  • Counsel patients on the management of chronic diseases.
  • Conduct medication reviews to ensure that patients are taking their medications as prescribed.
  • Order and stock medications and medical supplies.
  • Maintain a safe and secure pharmacy environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on new drugs and treatments.

  • Registration with the GPhC
  • Relevant experience in a pharmacy setting.
