Clarity is recruiting for a full-time Pharmacist but will consider candidates looking for part time hours.

What you need to know

Our client is looking to recruit a pharmacist predominately to work in their Newtownards and Templepatrick branches with occasional requirements in their Belfast branch. Exact working pattern to be agreed upon at interview stage.

Role & Responsibilities:

• The delivery of clinical services to the local community, working closely with other healthcare professionals
• Ensuring the provision of the highest level of patient care 
• Dispense medications as prescribed by doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and to evaluate their suitability for the patient.
• Provide advice to patients on the use of medicines, including dosage, side effects, and interactions with other medications.
• Counsel patients on the management of chronic diseases.
• Conduct medication reviews to ensure that patients are taking their medications as prescribed.
• Maintain a safe and secure pharmacy environment.
• Stay up-to-date on new drugs and treatments.

Qualifications and experience:

• Registered with the PSNI
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
