Prepare for Your First Locum Shift with MPS Training from Clarity Locums

Starting a new locum position can be challenging, especially if you're unfamiliar with the systems used in the pharmacy. At Clarity Locums, we want to ensure you're fully prepared and confident before your first shift. That’s why we’re running a series of in-person MPS training sessions this July and August at our Merrion Square offices in Dublin City Centre.

What to Expect from the MPS Training

These training sessions are designed to introduce you to the Medical Prescription System (MPS), a widely used tool in pharmacies across Ireland. By the end of the session, you will feel more confident in your ability to work efficiently and accurately using MPS.

During the training, you will:

• Learn how to use the core ordering and dispensing features of MPS
• Get hands-on experience using the system yourself
• Receive expert guidance in a small-group setting

Whether you’re new to locum work or simply new to MPS, this session is a valuable opportunity to familiarise yourself with the system in a supportive, interactive environment.

Upcoming Training Dates

We are offering three evening sessions, each starting at 7:00 PM:

• Thursday, 24th July
• Thursday, 7th August
• Thursday, 21st August

Each session is limited to 12 participants to ensure a high-quality learning experience and allow everyone time to practice using the system.
